HIV Mutation and MHC Presentation

Hello all,

Just curious as to how the high mutation rate of HIV affects peptide presentation on MHC? How do T-cells gradually lose efficacy (to the point of not noticing them) despite an antigenic protein being continually expressed by the HIV virus?
