For the reds, another 'options' argument

I often hear the digital age used to dismiss the dichotomy of being forced to serve the land owning class or die. Example: Nobody has a monopoly on innovation, you can start a media company right now, or a SaaS one, but you'll have to have the necessary skills to grow it. Granted, success isn't a guaranteed thing, but the barrier of entry is much lower. Focus on creating Internet businesses, that's where it's at. There is much left to do.

So basically the argument is wage laborers can start online businesses, so what's stopping them?
