Newbie in trove, need help.

So I just played this game for 2 days and currently at 258 Power Rank, MR 12.

How can I progress faster? It seems my progress are too slow as I googled. Furthermore there are some guides saying that it is very easy to gain MR20 in just 1 day, what should I need to notice ?
