Bootproblem with my new 500GB SSD

Hi, after 3 days of googling and trying different things without success I'm gonna ask my question here. I recently bought a new SSD (a Samsung 850 evo 500GB). When I now try to install Windows onto it I get a problem. When the installation is completed the computer restarts and then I get this error message: "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key".

Usually you can Solve this by moving the SSD up in the boot-priority but this did not make any difference. I also tried to change the SATA-settings from AHCI to IDE but that does not work either. The strange thing is that I can install windows 10 on my other SSD (an 840 evo) without any problem.

Tldr: My new SSD works as a storage drive but I can't boot from it.

You say it's a new SSD... Do you have another drive in there with Windows on it as well?

Yes. I get the same problem even if I disconnect the other drive though.

Yeah, sounds like the same problem I had.

I'm not sure how or why this exactly happens, but I have a 1TB HDD and and got an 850 EVO 250GB. I installed Windows on the SSD, tried to boot off of it, and got that same error. I was able to sort of fix it by booting off of the HDD, which then for some reason takes me to a dual boot screen where I can boot off either the SSD or HDD, and selecting the SSD works, but doesn't if I try to boot straight off the SSD from BIOS. I then proceeded to format the old hard drive, and everything seems to be working, but i still have to go to that dual boot screen for my SSD to work. I did research and found out that it might be related to the hard drive being plugged in at the same time you try to install Windows on a new SSD.. Perhaps try reinstalling Windows to the SSD witout the hard drive plugged in, or see if you can get the same result that I get from booting off the old drive.
