(Possible Spoiler Warning) Could Azure be the Viridian Gym Leader? (Theory)

You may think Azure is dead after the sinking of the S.S. Anne, but I think she will eventually end up being the Gym Leader in Viridian City. Let's look at some facts:

1. Giovanni is usually the Viridian City Gym Leader, but he is not in Generation 2, which this game is a hack of.

2. We recently battled Giovanni in Tohjo Falls, making it even more likely that he is not the Viridian Gym Leader in this game.

3. Who is the Viridian Leader when Giovanni is not? Blue, the rival from Generation 1.

4. Early on, when this game followed the plot of Generation 1 (up until the S.S. Anne), who took the role of Blue? Azure, that's who.

I also personally think we will be unable to challenge the Viridian Gym until procuring all of the other 7 Kanto badges, as it is in HeartGold and SoulSilver. In addition, Azure will be unrevealed until we challenge her in the gym to add to the shock factor.

Please note that this is not confirmed or backed up by any official stream staff members as far as I know. It is just a theory.
