Will bringing a disk online cause data loss?

I submitted this yesterday and it got buried very quickly. I'm hoping that I can get more eyes on it today.

Relevant System Specs:

Highpoint RocketRAID 2300 w/ 4 WD 2TB drives in RAID5

Old OS: Windows 7 Pro

New OS: Server 2012 R2

I upgraded my home server and got everything working fine except for this array. The card and drives seem to be working fine but they don't show as an active drive. In Drive Management the array is shown as "Offline" with the message "The disk is offline because of policy set by an administrator." I have the option to bring it online and I think that will make everything work.

My question is if bringing it online will cause data loss.

If it will cause data loss is there something I can do to prevent it? The old hardware still works fine and I still have the old drive with the old OS still installed on it so i figure worst case scenario I'll move it back to the old and copy over as much as I can to other drives before bringing it online.
