I'm emotionally and mentally exhausted.

This is our second ABA group and I just watched them handle my son's tantrum. He's screaming at the top of his lungs in a high pitched voice, the male tutor's (unintentionally) yelling at my son commanding him to high five him, and one of the tutors is telling me that this is necessary. She said giving him his blankie, etc. would be rewarding him and will prolong his tantruming in the future.

Between seeing his bruises from yesterday and two other times in the past and now this, I'm exhausted. I have no choice, my son is being used as a guinea pig, they come to my house acting like they know everything, being unapologetic that they caused at least 10 bruises (five large ones) the day before, treating me like I'm a helicopter mom for getting upset at my son's crying for 45 minutes non-stop, and telling me to ask the BCBA if I have any questions thereby brushing me off. Of course, there are two sides to this story. They genuinely think that what they're doing is right and justifiable. But do they really have to be so cold and self-righteous?
