What gear/equipment might have gone into making this?

Hi r/Photography, had a quick question. I'm trying to take a similar portrait like one of these and I was wondering if any of you could guess the kind of set up, equipment and technique that might have made it possible. I assume there is a lot of post production photoshopping that went in, but even then, is it possible to make some guesses?
