How to deal with jealous people?

When I first moved to this school, no one had a problem with me. By my second year, I made a ton of friends, and started hanging out with more popular kids. I also started to get really good at sports. Now, in every clique that I'm in has 2 or 3 jealous guys who will talk trash to me. They try to hurt me by putting me down in things that I am passionate about or care about. I am pretty sure that they are super jealous, but I'm wondering how to not let there hate get to me. Have you had a similar experience?
