Suprised there are no motion seats tailored for the VR systems yet.

I am a huge driving/flying sim fan and can't wait for my cv1.

Anyone else surprised that there are no hydraulic motion seats being designed for these platforms?

Currently the commercial ones that are out there huge and expensive with cabins, screens and whatnot.

But with the rift and vive, all you need is a barebones open air aluminum structure with plastic seat and modest hydro motor and off you go!! Should be relatively cheap if you think about it. And would be worth every penny for the immersion factor.

Having had extensive experience in older military air sim seats, these things when properly programmed can really fool you into feeling a lot of the g's. Can't wait to see what shows up on the market.
