Should I get the Surface Pro 2 if I only need it for animating?

I found some Surface Pro 2 devices at a very good price. I'm a 2D animator and I need a portable tablet PC so I can animate anywhere I go.

Any animators recommend it? I heard the pen is better than on the newer SP versions
