1984 Bridgestone 400 Sport Touring - any idea what it's worth?
There's one at the co-op that I could get for about $100. I'm assuming it's all original. The spokes and wheels are heavily rusted and pitted, but the frame appears to be 8/10. Red paint job, yellow lettering. No pitting. The rear derailleur started responding when I hit it with some lube. Down tube shifters. Triple crankset. Sorry, but I don't have pic. They said it's a 1986 (title was a typo) model, but didn't seem confident. I can't find much at all on the interwebz. Can anybody shine some light on this?
I'm interested in it for a SS or 1x conversion for a commuter. The lugged steel and geometry are the appeal, as it's just my size. Craigslist in my area is just BSOs and TT/Tri bikes, so this seems like a slam dunk. Of course, I would need a wheel set, at least. Anyways, does it sound like it's worth a bill?
