Fired on good terms, is this normal?

I'm 3 years out of college and seem to be suffering from job hopping. First place I worked I was fired at exactly 90 days. I handed in my last project and instantly got my pink slip, but I'm still on good terms with everyone there. Last place I worked for 6 months, was fired because they couldn't afford me (did a few freelance projects for them afterward) and am still friends with everyone there. My current job I just got fired from, but they asked me to stay for two more weeks to help them out, was told my performance was fine but they were eliminating the position for cost reasons. All the goodbyes have been heartfelt and, like the other places, I assume I'll be keeping all of my friends. My question is, "is this normal?" I'm hopping from job to job but nothing seems to be going "wrong" persey, the companies just seem done with any work they have to give. Is there anything I could be doing? I currently work in writing and digital strategy.
