I love the beavers

My mammoth got killed today and I thought just get one of the new beavers...cough those things are really OP if I compare them to the mammoth. Specially the smithy and half weight makes this thing awesome. But is this normal that the attack is so OP ? My friend and I are currently leaving a train wreck on carno island to level up, killing everything with just a few bites.
