Discussion:Would a Roman Reigns Heel Turn Save his Career?

Correct me if i am wrong here but with the exception of John Cena, Every Single Guy who was ever considered to be The Face of the WWE has had at least once major heel run.

Most of the time the turn has resulted in overall success. For Example look at what happened to Rocky Maivia in his first heel turn He joined the Nation of Domination, Improved his mic skills then would eventually break away and eventually became the most Electrifying Man is Sports Entertainment History and would Cement His Legacy as the "Peoples Champ"

This is my first post so any feedback would be appreciated.

Update: Stone Cold Steve Ausitin discussed it in his latest podcast he says:

"I predicted this all along. The kid has got to have a heel run before he's going to be universally loved because that's just the way that I see it. I've always said that I think the guy needs to be a heel first but, nonetheless, that's not my call. That's the booking committee's call or Vince [McMahon]'s call. ... That's what's going to make it fun again because everybody is going to be so on board with booing him! I'm telling you, once he goes through that process, whether that takes one year, two years, [or] whatever, then they're going to end up loving the guy."
