Does stuff like this make anyone else angry?

Okay, so I wanted a new game I've beaten most things I own. Bored of the rest of them and see Need for Speed on sale. I thought well I'll pick it up. Worst fucking mistake I've made in awhile. The controls are God awful, no in car camera, no manual driving. Not off to a good start. Well I thought, I'll give it some time. So make it through the first few cutscenes, which you can't skip by the way, and then after all the generic shit cutscenes I am finally able to drive. I began driving to get the hang of the controls, cell phone rings. I ignore it because I'm not ready to progress, 45 seconds later, rings again I ignore it again. Another minute goes by a prompt comes up and says answer your phone go to the quest marker. It's just infuriating how much games want to hold your hand these days. I can't even drive in a driving game. Imagine that.
