Why do we exist?

I mean, what's the meaning of life? Why do we exist if we then die? What are dreams and love and jobs good for if we're going to disappear? How is our existence relevant in the world or, when that will be gone too, in the Universe? I feel like I'm tripping but seriously... WHAT'S THE POINT?
