[MH4U] Best way to farm charms?

I've played MH1 all the way to Tri, and only recently got the N3DS and MH4U. Based on my past experiences, I tried to do charm farming by go on G2 volcanic gathering map, mine nodes, die, turn in ticket to finish mission. The run takes about 5-7 min, but results have been sub par, sometimes getting only 1 charm.

I've also watched Gaijin Hunter video on Heaven's Mount charm farm, but that would require crafting insect glaive, and I do not have the mats for the Hawk X suit. Similarly, I do not have Charm +20, and likely will not get it in the near future, since I'd like to have more variety of weapons and armors.

So, I'd like to ask...what is the best method for me to charm farm both solo and in groups?

PS. I'm currently HR 80ish, G Bronze permit.

Edit: So the consensus is farming nodes on Heaven's Mount >>> any other map, just different approaches. Thanks!
