Two handed forehand?

Who started this move? Is it legal? How hard is it to learn forehand a second time(with my left arm)? I just read that this is possible and, since my backhand is pretty weak, I really want to try it out!

EDIT: My wording is really bad, but I'm talking about switch hitting - hitting a forehand with my right arm then my left arm
