BrawlBox on Mac

I'm trying to run BrawlBox on a Mac (Air), and I know I need to use the Wine/Winebottler application wrapper to do so. (I'm using this for brstm creation, portrait and skin swapping, etc). I got as far as getting brawlbox to open, but when i try to convert a brstm, It crashes with no explanation or songs converted. I've watched several winebottler tutorials, and followed them closely, but none of them cover brawlbox specifically. What can I do, or what should I do? (Please don't say buy a windows computer.)

edit: I have read several people saying it works, but with no explanation on how to get it there. If anyone knows a good tutorial, lemme know.
