[Discussion] Tornadoes and dogs

I'm being a typical Redditor and getting on the internet in a potential crisis to decide if it's really a crisis or not, lulz.

I got this emergency alert on my phone saying there's a tornado. But, uh, the dogs aren't freaking out. I'm playing the "is that regular wind, the train, or a tornado?" game.

Is that a thing? Can indoor dogs sense tornadoes or whatever?

Also, PSA: have an emergency kit prepared that includes pet food and pet first aid supplies, an extra leash, and [copies of] your pet's important paperwork.
