Syma X5-C Motor Spins Continuously

I resoldered a motor for my Syma X5-C, but as soon as I plug the battery in, the motor starts spinning. Once powered on, the motor does not spin fast enough to give the drone any lift.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what I can do to get the motor working again? I've already tried 2 different motors and both do the same thing.
