Is it for the best that we accept that Melee is "spell casting using a melee weapon as an implement"

Cause its obviously clear unless they can completely overhaul how the awkward melee targeting with single target skills are, it seems to me we'll be stuck working with skills like Reave, Ground Slam, Ice Crash in order to survive.
