(US) Florida. Looking at a home that has had previous water damage but has been repaired
There is a home I've found and am very interested in. The house was flooded in April 2014 due to a bad storm, and don't exactly know what to look for.
The home has been completely upgraded including electrical, plumbing, and insulation. I'm not 100% sure on the AC unit being replaced, though.
I assume I should learn the extent of the damage, but what are some key features to take notice of to identify if this property will give me tons of problems in the future?
The county is working on a solution for updating the drainage systems in the area. The fact that this isn't done: should this deter me from the property?
