Way to get around bad phone DAC

My phone's internal DAC is terrible. I don't have the best headphones or earbuds but there is a very loud hissing sound (no even barely dismissible unless I'm on max volume or using my QC15s with their noise cancelling).

It is a cheap android phone so I'm not surprised and I only wish to listen music from spotify without hissing (so not asking for too much). What is the most fairly priced external DAC I can use with my phone (microusb connection) or simply another solution to my problem? Looking for something ~30$ as I just want to get audio quality of say an iPhone.

EDIT: Been thinking a bit, is it possible this is a problem with my headphone jack or just my DAC?
