How do I approach midgame as Kayle/Annie? (Low silver)

I usually splitpush as kayle to bait the enemy team so my team can pressure another lane, and group up for dragon. Is that what i should do or would i be better trying to fight with my team?

I do always group when dragon is about to spawn unless the other team is already dead.
