Bombing vs Gumming MDMA

What do you guys think is the best method of taking MDMA? Do you think you get a more intense and hard hitting come up by gumming it. I normally bomb it but lately I have been having quite a slow and steady come up. I quite like the overwhelming sensation when it first kicks in. I am worried about damaging my gums by rubbing it though. What are your preferred methods?
