I'm Starting Metal Gear Rising

Love me some MGS but man, MGR kinda looked too cheesy and not MGS enough for my tastes.

Having recently gone back to play MGS3 and 4 after beating GZ & TPP, I figured why not? It's only $10.

So...here goes nothing. MGR. I hear it's short, it's slightly absurd (that's ok!) and Raiden is no Snake (see MGS2). But it's Metal Gear, and I'm kinda getting bummed after the pristine gameplay of MGS5, I'll never get another taste of MGS (Kojima MGS, at least!)

Just a rant. MGR is worth it? Is it fun? IGN says it lasts 4-6 hours...sound right? Wish me luck!
