Found a non-working Shopsmith. Need advice before I considering buying.
The Shopsmith, as described to me, "Won't turn on", and "the connections to the motor are badly corroded" It is free if I want it, the owner had a family member with a woodworking shop, they passed away, and just want it out of the garage. I need to know what to check for to make sure I'm not just buying a huge paperweight for my workshop. So what should I look for and be sure of before I get this monster? So far I have not seen pictures of it, but will ask for them next week.
