Ideas for a newborn baby present?!

so a coworker is having a baby and I might be getting the honor of being a god parent. It's not really a thing for Hindi babies, but whatever.

Semantics aside, I'd like to make something for her and I'm looking for ideas.

I've got a few months to go. I was considering a crib, but idk. I think something smaller would be nice?

Looking for inspiration so any ideas are welcome!

Edit: Just want to add, that it doesn't have to be baby related. I was also thinking of maybe decorative things or small toys. Perhaps with her name engraved.
