Issues with Schiit Stack 1st Gen

So I just recieved the Schiit Stack Gen 1 I ordered from r/avexchange, and hooked everything up. USB cable from a USB 2.0 slot to the Modi, RCA cables from the Modi to the Magni, Magni to HD600s.

Except, there's no sound. Yes the amp is on, yes both the Magni and Modi have their leds lit. Yes I've made sure I'm not an idiot, and left the volume low. Yes it still works if I go directly from the computer to the HD600. Yes all the cables are properly attached, yes I've read the DAC help on the side. Yes I've tried the drivers straight from their site.

My volume mixer says there's no audio on the levels but the play back devices says there is and there's no sound through my headphones.

Edit: So... I just dropped the Magni... and now it works... HOW DOES THAT WORK
