A Bird in the halls.

Robyn frantically composed himself before rushing out of the door with his sword at his side. He promised Lenwood that he’d meet him at the crack of dawn to train in the courtyard. With the mountain clans being hunted by the Bronze Gauntlet the clansmen were scattered making journeys through the Vale much more treacherous and unpredictable.

The halls of the Eyrie were long, cold and winding except for the occasional beam of sunlight that soared through a window. The sound of his boots snapping on the white stone floor echoed throughout the halls and his shadow trailed closely behind him. He weaved in and out of the halls with pace and blindly turning the corners hoping not to walk into anything or anyone.

Unfortunately that is what happened as he turned a corner and before him stood a stern man dressed in fine clothing although his eyes looked like they had seen a fair few years.

“Forgive me” Robyn stuttered.
