Getting Work Done

I'm primarily interested in getting things done with VR/AR. I'm interested in virtual environments where I can organize data, use cloud services, use a browser, use emacs, edit code, fiddle with the operating system, etc.

For all of this to become reality, I need to see text clearly.

I've only used the Gear VR and I find it intolerable for doing work, because the text is not clear enough.

Can anybody chime in on editing text and such in Vive? Should I just wait for something better?

I love games, but it's secondary to me.
