[EVENT] Mozambique Explores its Options with its $500m Education Expansion Fund
Over the past two years, Mozambique has saved $532.83 million for its Education Expansion Fund through two 5% of revenue contributions.
In the previous two education projects, we have...
-
built 1,000 small primary schools / libraries
-
hired 3,000 educators
-
established certification standards for new hires
-
opened adult literacy classes in the new schools
-
spent funding on books and supplies for the new schools
This new fund will likely target secondary education, as some of the older members of our new primary schools are graduating and moving into an under-developed secondary school system or quitting education altogether.
We are open to advice and aid from our foreign friends in order to use this fund to its full potential.
