Goodbye Lucy, I already miss you!

We had to put down my 16 year old dog Lucy this afternoon. I miss her so much already. I know she lived longer then most dogs and I should be grateful, but it makes it that much harder. I've had her for 2/3 of my life. My first memory is when we picked her up as a puppy and she chased me around the house. Her favorite thing to do was stick her head out the window of the car. She was always dependable for a hug and would lick my nose to let me know she loved me. It's going to be hard to come home and not see her there anymore. I hope that shes up in heaven right now running around with her brothers Fudge and Oreo. Thanks for sharing your wonderful life with us Lucy!
