GDC Beast and Lenovo T540p help

I've recently purchased a GDC Beast. I am trying to set up my Lenovo T540P to use a Nvidia GTX670 card. I am able to see the second card on booting the machine however when I try to run any game, the game crashes and Windows says that the driver crashed and recovered. I've tried multiple drivers but have had no luck. Any help would be appreciated. I can provide any specs or other information that may help.
