With oil going out of fashion - will we have a peaceful world. or what will we squabble over next? Your predictions.

I've been reading articles that are propping up like weeds all over making it sound like oil is out and OPEC and the old ways are in trouble http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-24/another-oil-crash-is-coming-and-there-may-be-no-recovery If this is so, and being a bunch of power hungry humans (sorry for being pessimistic) - what is the next thing that will continue the global games.

EDIT: I'm actually not into conspiracies but greatly appreciate the minds that think of alternative viewpoints and this is a question I've been asking myself and others - just wanted to rack some brains here.
