My Diamond Story

I wanna know if anyone else's first game was diamond. I was 4 or 3 years old at the time diamond. I think that was my first pokemon game, it might've been either sapphire or blue. Well anyways my grandma took me to toys r us on the day it came out, and i got both diamond and pearl. I didn't know how to read at the time so i asked my step brother to help me. I picked turtwig and i rembember catching a starly and naming some wierd collection of letters like, QRZXWGF or something. Well anyways I eventually evolved turtwig into grottle and then into torterra and evolving Starly into Staravia, and then into Staraptor, catching Shinx and evolving him. I also remember catching Buizle and Gible because Ash had one. I eventually caught Dialga, and my two cousins, who got the other two starters on their games, traded me Infernape and Empoleon. I was at the elite 4 and made it to the 2nd memeber. I then went through that phase of "I'm too old/cool for pokemon." and so I never finished it. I went back on it a while ago to check out my team, but didn't so anything. I then lost it about a month after that. I still look for that game, I wish I could beat it and transfer my team into gen 6. R.I.P Pokemon Diamond.
