a summary of things found

-code strings referencing hl3, including a "crowbar zipline", "spy grenade", day-night cycle, and "gravity vortex controller"

-an HEV suit panel with what may or may not be a code on it

-a panel with coordinates to something. the end of each coordinate combine into 01/23/61 - 1961 is the year that the dry dock of the borealis was sealed off but that was in June, not the 23 of janurary. the coordinates also turn up on a map differently depending on how you interpret them - 1 person found them pointing to a fjord in Iceland, another mapped out a straight line in the arctic.

-a copy of Half-life: Raising the bar can be found in the demo

-rumor has it that there were broken map files related to Hl3 before an update hid them

-the logo is just the half life logo with the lambda replaced by the words "VR".

has anyone looked for stuff related to the borealis? people might have overlooked some portal-related things for being portal-related, but many things in portal are part of the Half-Life universe.

no matter what, source 2 is here. let's be honest, the source engine didn't exactly sell to developers like hot cakes. if valve have developed an entire freaking engine, they aren't going to be able to pay for it with licensing. as long as what they use it for isn't FUCKING DOTA i'll be happy.
