2001 Civic with open diff, can I weld it?

So I don't know a whole lot about Diff's but I've seen civics do some sweet burnouts at the track. but I only ever get one wheel peels. so basically what I want to know is, is there a way to weld the diff in my 2001 Civic EX? or can I put an aftermarket LSD in it? do those even exist?
