Potential issue when showing past work.

Hi everyone,

I'm gathering clients and trying to break away from my current job. I've already have a web presence established and have clients contacting me for work.

The problem I'm facing now is they want to see some work examples. I currently still work for my employer and some of the nice looking sites that I've made has their logo on the bottom of the site with link.

This could burn me if the client thinks my employer is my side business and contacts them instead of following up with me.

I really need to land enough clients to work for myself. Any ideas how I should handle this?

Part of me thinks to download the website on my pc and remove their logo and use as an example. What about screen shots with logo removed.

Really want to be successful but also worried at the same time.
