Thoughts on BB Bosses

So far I've faced and slain CB, Papa G, BSB, Witches, Amelia, Logarius, Shadows, Paarl, and Rom.

I've also had two encounters with Ludwig (second trip was mostly to try and recover my stain... it didn't go so well).

Of these bosses, I managed to ace the Witches first try (which was cake), as well as the Shadows (gunparry4lyfe) which I was pretty stoked about, and then I murderized Paarl as well on the first go (I was very surprised about this; I was flagellating its electrified hide, and then it wasn't electric, and then it was staggered, and then I VA'd for 1000-ish, and then whipped it a little more and it was dead).

Rom took 3 tries... though the third was me summoning the meatshield Mensis dood- he died but took enough heat to ensure my success.

The other bosses generally rekt me hard for a half dozen tries or more, though of them I actually enjoyed Father Gascoigne- that fight probably taught me to parry pretty well. Logarius, when I managed to finally parry+VA him to death, was satisfying... but that's probably more down to the fact that the size differences makes it look like you're crushing his testicles and then forcefully castrating him, and he'd been immensely frustrating prior to that.

That said, I do find it interesting that there's not very many bosses I find plainly boring and/or annoying to fight in BB (currently it's just the Witches); they're either so infuriating as to make me shake with grossly incandescent rage, or so enjoyable that I don't much care if I die in the attempt as long as I know I gave it everything I had.

Side note: recommended level range to tackle Ludwig for someone who's going in semi-blind and leveled up a bit of everything (20/25/20/7 STR/SKL/BLT/ARC, with my current plan being to go 30-40 on all offensive stats (first character is planned as the "don't stop leveling" dood))?
