Help a fellow undead with Artorias!

Hey guys, I'm having a bitch of a time with Artorias. I haven't leveled my vitality at all (stamina build) so he pretty much 1-2 hits me every time. So, anyone care to help a brother out? I'm on PC and would really appreciate the assistance.
