Maturation

So I was fortunate enough to kibble tame a set of male and female 120 sabertooth. I had the great idea to breed them, because hey I need chitin. Because I play single player, it's been 3 weeks and this thing is still maturing. I play roughly 2-3 hours a day, skipping a day in between here and there because of work. Is there any way to crank up the maturation process?

Edit: I should have mentioned that I play single player / non-dedicated.
