Help! 2001-2003 CBR600F or GSXR750 K2 / K3

So I have a quandry, my poor fazer has been written off, and I've decided it's time to get a true sports bike. It will be ridden for commuting, touring and scratching up some tasty roads in my local area.

I've decided between the two bikes in the title, they're in my price range, and are both supposed to be superb bikes, I love the look of both.

CBR600F - Seems to me to be the more practical idea, plenty sporty enough but comfortable enough for long trips - supposed to have a nice revvy engine with honda reliability. Barring cam chain tensioners and regulator / rectifier problems

GSXR750 - I love this bike, and I love the idea of a 750 - enough grunt to have similar fun as a litre bike, but more usable in real life for the roads. Let down a little by finish, I'll have to be careful in winter.

So I want r/motorcycles opinions on which is the better bike - yes it's going to be your opinions and I intend to try both for myself. But having other peoples opinions can be a help from time to time - especially with me being so stuck between the two.
