Yet another question on Seattle EMS.

Hey all, thanks for taking the time to read this.

I'll preface my questions by saying I will be moving to the Seattle area from Las Vegas in August of this year. Obviously, I am looking to continue my EMS career. I currently work as an EMT at Medicwest (a company owned by Envision, like AMR and Rural/Metro), and will be upgrading to AEMT next month. My main questions are these:

• Is KCMO the only EMS system that runs ALS 911?
• What are the starting wages for the different private agencies (AMR/Falck/TriMed)?
• I notice on most job postings the lack of the term AEMT or Intermediate. Will my NRAEMT certification help at all, in either EMS or hospital work?

TL;DR: Where should I get hired so I can respond with pretty lights?
