Why do so Asian people buy soda pop in such large quantities?

Every single time I'm at the grocery store I see at least 1 or 2 Asian people buy huge quantities of soda and nothing else. Their cart is loaded up with Cola, Orange Crush, Gingerale, etc... This happens every time I go. Why?
