Crappy week

So, I don't know why, but lady luck seems to have a vendetta out on me this week so far. I half need a place to vent and half wanted to share some observations I made.

I'm not going to get too specific, but my week started out fine if you count Sunday as the start of the week. Personally, I don't. I don't feel like the week starts until work does on Monday. So with that sentiment, my week has been nothing but odd shitty coincidence after odd shitty coincidence, mostly at work. It began with small things (missed my alarm but still made it on time) and gradually moved up in intensity (from annoying workplace lectures to losing a piece of minor equipment and having to go through the bureaucratic nightmare) until (hopefully) the finale when my phone went off in a meeting and I was chewed out by my boss.

After my boss yelled at me, I took shelter in my supervisor's office and... ended up embarrassing myself by crying. While this was going on, I noticed that my inner voice wasn't sad, only analytical. It's like my crying was more or less just a physical reaction that I couldn't control and I was wondering why I couldn't.

Have any of you guys experienced this sort of sensation when you're in an apparently emotionally charged state? Kind of like your brain says "I don't agree with that. It's probably proper that I act angry," or something similar?

Sidebar: The only times my boss has ever seen me is when I screwed up. Not like I screw up and then I see him; like he comes around to my workplace and just so happen to screw up a little while he's there. I don't generally consider myself an incompetent person but I can't help but think that is the only impression he has of me. How do I deal?
