Aluminum ball for a CST?

After getting a little tipsy and talking with people in irc, I decided to start talking to a bearing manufacturer in china about aluminum balls for the CST. I think I could buy a batch and sell them in my store for $15 or so. Would anyone be interested in such thing?

Concerns I haven't been able to address yet:

• Will it be too heavy? (265g vs stock ball at 170g)
• Will the laser work ok?
• Would a non-mirror finish be better? (the manufacturer hasn't exactly addressed whether that'd be possible)
