Question about Softbanns

So, i read a few times that softbans are often applied if you played offline, come online and suddenly a large bunch of items are in your save that werent there before. Like people adding items with cheats offline.

About a week ago, i didnt had internet for 3 Days, but was logged in into steam. So i started a new character, Offline obviously, and played through the game normally, skipped the DLC's and went directly to NG+

Now, if i go online for the first time with an advanced savegame, is there any risk of getting banned? What if a Friend now gives me certain rings from the DLC areas without me actually ever entering these Areas?
